Every now and again I think about who and Whose we are. I like to remind myself of what I am called to be not just do. Often it will pop into my mind – words and phrases that speak of identity, authenticity, and belonging. So I use my creative practice to highlight those truths, and share them with the world via social media and my blog. I think it’s still important that we remember who we are. What we do is an expression of who we be. We are human beings not human doings. Maybe you’ve heard that before. Today I want to share this little love letter with you about who we are, who we be, and how much we are loved. We are the beloved.
Dear Precious One,
I want to tell you these words ringing true, like celebratory wedding church bells on a warm and breezy Saturday afternoon. So pull up a comfy chair, and grab your hot cup of coffee or tea and read these words I’ve penned just for you you.
You are beloved. There’s no arguing your value and dignity.
You are the beloved.
Accept this beautiful truth.
This is what God has said about you, and he has not changed his mind.
He’ll never change His mind about loving you, His precious child.
We are His sons and daughters, and we’re loved beyond measure.
Nothing you can do is ever going to make Him love you less.
I want you to know right now that you are fiercely loved;
you are accepted; you are cherished.
It is a lie from hell that you don’t belong or
that you’re not lovable. We’re not taking part
in that foolishness anymore!
Friend, you are so worth loving.
Grasp on to that glorious truth.
Rise up with confidence knowing the
whisper of heaven over your life.
Declare today that you are beloved!
You are wanted, loved, and adored.
In the month of October, I’m participating in the #Write31Days challenge. I’m focusing creative practice in the ordinary, everyday mundane. Each day (or whenever I write) for the series I will post the link on my page for my #31DaysOfCreativePractice. Come along and read.
