All Things Are Possible

Tonight’s Holy Week post is a bit of prayer and affirmation. I hope it is an encouragement to you who read.

I wanted to break free from debilitating condemnation.

All things are possible.

I wanted to follow the letter of your holy law but failed to be faithful.
All things are possible.

I was a child silenced and deemed unimportant, shoved to a corner.
All things are possible.

I had great wealth and desired to follow you holy ways but I’m still torn.
All things are possible.

Marriage, divorce, singleness of labeled me. Now I know not where I belong.
All things are possible.

I prayed this cup to pass, yet, not my will, but Yours was done.
All things are possible.

To the one who desires freedom from the inside out,
Christ has made it possible.

To the one who wants to honor God in everything no matter what,
Christ has made it possible.

To the little child or even the grown child, you belong and you matter because
Christ has made it possible.

To the one with great wealth who desires to live true and faithful and generously,
Christ has made it possible.

Married, divorced, single? You’re still a whole person worthy of love and dignity because
Christ has made it possible.

What our words and actions have failed to do for us, Christ has made possible. God, through Christ, has redeemed us, restored us, set us free, given us His name, and adopted us into His family – we belong. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE because Jesus is alive. Christ our King has done for us what we could never do for ourselves.

Be encouraged today. Wherever you’re at in life, know that with God redemption is possible. You’re welcome at His table.
