We walk by faith and not by sight. Faith bypasses works! Faith makes us move. It gives us the push to do what we think we cannot do. Faith encourages us to grow, to lean in, to hold on. It is a powerful thing to live by faith.
Faith builds us up. Faith gears us up to fight, to stand, to live full, and to execute God’s plans for our lives. Faith is what we need. Faith is what WILL move the mountain. It is by choice. We get to choose to have faith or not. Will you believe this God you cannot see? How will you know if you do not try. Try faith now. Try faith today. You’ve got nothing to lose. Nothing. And all of God’s kingdom to gain!
For when we walk by faith, we find that we are not as we once were. We find that impossibility becomes possible. We find that the road appears as we go. As we move, as we go, as we take each step the road appears. This is faith. It invites us to move with it making the unseen seen, making visible the invisible. We find ourselves empowered to live boldly and without fear. I believe when we engage, activate, and practice our faith, it beats back fear – casting it to the ground so it no longer has a hold on us. God didn’t give us a spirit of fear. He just didn’t. He gave us power, love, and soundness of mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The gift is irrevocable. We have what we need to move forward. All it takes is an act of our faith – the will to believe and hope. Imagine what impossible things we can accomplish when we choose to live by faith.
I am in a faith-growing season right now. I’ve been walking with Jesus for a long time, and I’m so grateful for God’s faithfulness in how He walks with me and continues to lead me to higher heights and deeper depths with Him. I’m recalibrating, getting grounded, and putting one foot in front of the other. And God is asking me to move in faith. I’ll be real with you, it’s unnerving. I cannot predict what will happen. I cannot control the outcome. I can’t tell what will happen. All I know is that I can’t stay where I’m at right now. I cannot stay in the stagnating waters of doubt.
I. Must. Move. By. Faith!!! Steps. Walking. Taking the risk. Choosing to go where I see no road. Faith is asking me to come along for this adventure. I’m saying yes. Yes, to God! Yes, to life. Yes, to living full and whole. I will not be moved by what I see because faith is us the substance of what I hope and the evidence of the unseen (Hebrews 11:1). I choose to believe.
We walk by faith and not by sight. I will walk by faith. I choose to engage faith, activate faith, and practice faith. This is the grand adventure with God. He is with me, and all that He has intended over my life shall come to pass. THIS I do believe. I will see God’s goodness in the land of the living! And you? You, beloved, can do the same. Choose faith, and see what God will do. It will be amazing!
