Thirst {for truth}

Beloved by marvia davidsonA thirst for truth that grounds the heart is what I’m after. It’s a thirst that can only be quenched by One Divine force – God, the Creator. It’s a thirst for ardent love that does not waver, wane, or whither. Today that means drinking in the truth about love. It means identity. It means … beloved.
This is who you are, who I am, who we are – beloved. Whatever lie is trying to take hold, toss it.  Be ruthless with any and every destructive lie that tries to stake a claim against your identity.

Maybe you need to know – God loves you most ardently. You can’t earn His love. It’s a gift.

He loves you.

He loves you.

He loves you.

GOD LOVES YOU!! It’s truer than true. Hold these words close. You ARE beloved. Your life matters.

I’m resting on this word-beloved, letting it settle deep in my bones.

What truth do you need to settle in your soul?  What words of life and hope do you thirst for in your soul?

Joining the Write Wednesday crew:: Thirst was our prompt.

    My “enneathought” email for the day reminded me that I don’t have to DO anything to be loved. And then you remind me that it’s a gift. I needed to hear those words. Thank you.
